Our team prides ourselves on being small in size – with three key partners and a great team of consultants – but big on experience, creativity and drive. Through the years, we’ve helped a variety of businesses from real estate firms, government agencies and farmers to schools, community organizations and nonprofits. While these projects have varied in scope and size, our approach to each remains the same – our job is to make you look good and to help you succeed.
Do you need publicity and planning support?
Need to stand out with a new or better brand?
Do you need to expand you reach online?
Do you need to publicize your business or events?
Linn has over 30 years experience in marketing, public relations, advertising, community relations, and event coordination. Prior to starting Linn Nishikawa & Associates, she served as Public Relations Director for Kapalua Land Company where she oversaw the PR efforts for the world-renowned Kapalua Resort. Among Linn’s strengths is her creative approach to developing and implementing strategic marketing and publicity campaigns. She’s also passionate about sharing her experiences and expertise with her team members – who also happen to be her amazing daughters, Casey and Lori.
Casey is a talented branding stylist, graphic designer, and Admin Queen of schedules and organization. She is a strong visual arts and design professional with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) focused in Graphic Design from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Prior to starting her own business, Kirei Concepts, she served for seven years as the Lead Graphic Design/Project Manager for Linn Nishikawa & Associates working in the non-profit sectors of economic development, small businesses, and education. When creating logos and brands, designing print/online assets and websites, photographing events, or handling event logistics, she continually raises the bar with her keen visual design talents, strong work ethic, and high quality of creative thought.
Casey embodies the Japanese philosophy of "omoiyari" – the care, consideration, and empathy that leads to thoughtful action to improve the lives of others – a universal concept in human interaction that is essential for a sustainable society and bedrock to the social spirit of 'aloha' in the islands. Thus, her passion lies in being of service to others, especially small businesses, which she knows are the lifeblood of her local hometown communities.
Lori is an all-star creative designer, researcher, and strategic thinker. She graduated from The Art Center in Pasadena, CA in Product Design. Whether she’s developing concepts with NASA scientists and engineers, developing Boston Consulting Group products and businesses for Fortune 500 companies or building coral reefs in Hawaii, Lori has a deep background in taking ideas to reality. Lori owns and operated her company Quovadis Design, where she loves to partner with her Mom Linn on a variety of Hawaii projects.
The concept of “kuleana,” having a personal sense of responsibility, best describes Lori’s philosophy to design with a purpose to ultimately bring positive impact back to the communities we serve - especially to those in Hawaii.
Currently, Lori works across managing Maui-based projects, while she spearheads and launches other businesses focused on scaling coral restoration among many more exciting projects coming soon.
“We believe in capturing your ideas and helping you design, create and resonate with people in Hawai'i.”
